About RISK

Who is RISK and how do we stand in society? We would like to tell you more about that. Below you can read about our sponsorship policy and how we shape our responsibility in the field of Sustainability.

SUCCESS IS ONLY FUN WHEN YOU SHARE IT WITH OTHERS

Sponsorship Policy

Success is only fun when you can share it with others. We believe it is important to contribute whenever possible to institutions and organizations with social, Christian or cultural objectives. We only consider sponsorship requests that meet the following criteria:

The request must come from our own employees, the employees of affiliated companies, or from intermediaries affiliated with RISK Insurance. After all, it is their social involvement as volunteers that we want to support. In recent years we have been able to support the following institutions:

GOOD STEWARDSHIP STARTS WITH YOURSELF

Sustainable business

Sustainability a buzzword to be flaunted? We think so. We don’t do sustainability because it’s fashionable. We see the importance of sustainability because it is our vision. RISK wants to deal responsibly with resources that are not inexhaustible.

That’s why RISK has been working on sustainability measures for years. We just didn’t know this term was part of it. So what does RISK do?

We use LED lighting throughout the building which reduces power consumption significantly. We also use motion switches in different areas of the building so the lights are not on unnecessarily.
We are conscious of our use of paper and try to communicate digitally as much as possible. This also applies to the development of new insurance products. The focus is therefore increasingly on digital communication between us and the customer.
When we print, we print responsibly with Solid Ink printers. With this technology, we produce 90% less waste than laser printers. Naturally, we print double-sided as much as possible.

We deliberately do not use a screensaver on our computers, this saves energy.
We apply waste separation by distinguishing between paper and residual waste.
We use blinds to reduce the use of the air conditioning system.
We use 244 solar panels.

A conscious place in society

Sustainability or corporate responsibility is not only reflected in our accommodation and logistics, but also in our HR policy. We take care of our personnel and try to find a good balance between talents, (im)possibilities, ambitions and health. That is why we apply the following three HR pillars, among others:

We pay attention to the sustainable employability of employees in various positions within our organization based on their talents and skills. We also encourage our employees to develop themselves through training to make them even more employable.
To ensure that our employees experience their work as enjoyable and meaningful, we pay personal attention to each employee.
We encourage a healthy lifestyle. For example, we offer fresh fruit every day.

Future prospects

At RISK, we also like to think about the future. That’s why we invest in innovation.

We try to keep constantly moving by jumping on new opportunities. We focus on product development, but also on innovation in the technical field and the company structure.

We also invest in social innovation. We work in multidisciplinary teams, allowing us to cooperate efficiently. We are also open to co-creation externally, allowing us to develop sustainable business models.

Sustainability, it’s a buzzword for many companies. We see it as an important tool by which and through which we have been growing sustainably for years.

Remuneration policy

At RISK, we believe that controlled remuneration is important in order to provide the best and fairest possible advice to all our clients. We have therefore set this out in our remuneration policy.
